City Property Markets

We recently produced a short film for City Property Markets, The film formed part of the the entry to the 2016 Great British Market Awards, where Glasgow won the award for Best Wholesale Market in the UK.

City Property Markets is a trading division of City Property (Glasgow) LLP and operates the fruit, vegetable and fish wholesale markets at 130 Blochairn Road, as well as managing a number of retail and farmers markets across Glasgow.

Opened in 1969, Scotland’s major fresh produce market operates from a 32-acre site at junction 14 on the M8. The tenant companies supply fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and flowers to a large number of independent retailers, caterers, restaurants, hotels and processors throughout Central and West Scotland.

Comprising of 74 fruit & veg single stances and 6 stances within Scotland’s only inland fish market, over 2 million tons of produce from around the world goes through the market each year, equating to an annual turnover of £250M and 1,000 vehicle movements per day.
